1972 K registration, Porsche 914/4, LHD, with 5 speed manual transmission, imported from the United States in 2014, and showing one previous keeper in the United Kingdom. Suppled complete with an official Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche, the car was built on June 1st 1972 and supplied to order to the dealership in San Francisco.

The car was specified from the factory with optional green coloured glass and a 1700cc engine, but benefits from having had the larger, 1974 specification 2000cc engine variant subsequently fitted. We believe the indicated mileage to be correct, judging from the overall condition of the car. One of the nicest things about the car is the fact that it has never been apart. This vehicle has not been put through a bare metal restoration and has never been welded, instead it is a rot-free survivor which has benefited from some cosmetic tidying. Attention has been paid to the external paintwork, the driver & passenger seats have been reupholstered (using original specification material), and all five alloy wheels have been externally detailed in black.  The interior also features a working, period, push button AM/FM radio.

Service work has now been completed, this included, HD30 oil, filter, tappet adjustment, new rocker cover gaskets, replacement cam-box gaskets (as they were weeping), front suspension disassembly, lubrication and rebuilding, new front pads, new brake master cylinder & brake fluid, front tracking & camber reset, Dinitrol & over-paint treatment to two small areas underneath, one around the master cylinder (the old one was weeping) and also a small area underneath behind the engine. Speedo drive seals replaced and faulty seat belt warning system disabled as it was flashing constantly.

This is a very nice example of a 914/4 in what may prove to be a one-off colour (the Porsche certificate shows that the car was supplied to the first owners colour sample)! While very smart, the car does show some signs of patina and as such has retained its character.

Will be supplied with: 2 sets of keys; V5; 12 months MOT; service; HPI certificate; Porsche Certificate of Authenticity; Porsche Owners handbook and a (reproduction) Porsche document wallet.

Our hours are: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
